(1) Disinformasi yang berasal dari tangkapan layar tampilan mobile, tampilan dari peramban (browser) hasil pencarian Google. Tautan “Surat man injured in mobile phone blast” ketika dibuka yang tampil tidak seperti yang ditampilkan di tangkapan layar tersebut, yang tampil adalah seperti di tangkapan layar ke 3: “Bhavesh Thummer suffered injuries to his chest, left eye and ear and was taken to SMIMER hospital where his condition is reported to be out of danger” (Bhavesh Thummer terluka di dada, mata dan telinga sebelah kiri dan dibawa ke rumah sakit SMIMER dimana kondisinya dilaporkan sudah tidak berbahaya). Laman tersebut tidak berisi video, yang artinya: antara tangkapan layar berita dengan tangkapan layar video tidak ada hubungannya.

(2) Video yang diklaim sebagai korban ledakan HP tersebut sudah beredar setidaknya tiga kali dengan narasi yang berbeda. Belum diketahui kejadian yang sebenarnya, tetapi yang ditampilkan di video-video tersebut (PERINGATAN: TIDAK DISENSOR) sangat meragukan jika luka tersebut diakibatkan oleh ledakan HP. Ledakan HP (tanpa memicu ledakan lainnya) hanya akan menimbulkan luka bakar, tidak sampai mematahkan tulang rusuk hingga organ dalam dibalik tulang rusuk terlihat.

    A 30-year-old diamond polisher was left with severe injuries after a mobile phone kept in his shirt pocket exploded here on Monday afternoon. Bhavesh Thummer suffered injuries to his chest, left eye and ear and was taken to SMIMER hospital where his condition is reported to be out of danger.
